Solstice Sip Sponsors

Thanks to the generosity of our corporate and individual supporters, Solstice Sip has donated nearly $40,000 to the Alzheimer’s Association. We are working toward our goal of donating more than $1 million in support of individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

We would like to extend our gratitude to our 2023 event sponsors who allow for over 100% of ticket sales and event proceeds to go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association. This event would not be possible without you. Thank you for your support.

Our Solstice Sip Inspiration

Lindsay and Brandon Paxton hosted the first Solstice Sip event in their backyard in 2019 after learning that a best friend’s dad was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s at age 60. Jim McAlexander was a loving, energetic father and “Pop Pop”, supportive husband, motorcycle enthusiast, warrior, Professor of Marketing at Oregon State University, and a believer that one should “do no boring research”.

One of Jim’s former students shared that he challenged her “to think deeper, question more…. and stand up to BS.” He encouraged others to laugh and live joyously. Jim passed away on April 18th, 2022. This year’s Solstice Sip will be in honor of his life and in support of all whom are impacted by Alzheimer’s Disease.
